The above photo of Lagbaja first surfaced last year. The picture was released by sources close to Nigerian highlife singer Bisade Ologunde aka Lagbaja who claim he masked his face after his family went against his career choice.
He masked himself because of his family’s opposition to his career and to further protect his family’s image in the church.
A source said he is the son of a baptist deacon and a former choir member at his church in Ilorin, Kwara state.

2 popular leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were killed in their home on Wednesday night in Borno state.

According to police report, the 2 killed prominent leaders of PDP are;

• Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Gula who is the PDP zonal Vice Chairman for Southern Borno
• Hajia Gambo, a woman PDP leader in Shehuri Ward in Maiduguri

They were shot to death at their respective homes last night

They blamed they for playing major roles in during President Goodluck Jonathan’s visit to the state last week and the attack may not be unconnected with his refusal to grant amnesty to the faceless terrorists wreaking havoc in Northern Nigeria.

They were upset after GEJ said he won’t grant amnesty to ghosts. The terrorists have come open to say they aren’t ghosts

 5 Nigerian Internet Fraudsters, Yahoo Boys Arrested In Enugu By EFCC

Below is an official press release by EFCC over the arrest of five notorious yahoo boys in Enugu.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested five suspected internet fraudsters in Enugu, Enugu State. They were picked up from their hide out at No. 26 and 42, Chimaobi Uba Street, GRA, Enugu following an intelligence report.

The suspects, Uche Nwakor, 27; Ejikeme Oluchukwu, 30; Ifeanyi Ejikeme, 28 ;Nnamani Ikechukwu,30 and Ibe Kodili are alleged to be serial scammers who have defrauded several victims.

Some of the items recovered from the suspects include Eight Thousand, Two Hundred and Twenty Seven United States Dollars ( $8,227); Seventy Three Thousand Naira (N73,000.00); eight (8) exotic cars; nine (9) laptops; twenty one (21) mobile phones; two (2) internet routers; one (1) currency counter and one (1) Sony camera.

Other incriminating items found with the suspects include four (4) drivers’ license bearing different names with same photograph, five (5) flash drives, two (2) external hard drives, various bank cheques, ATM and Master cards, 1 HP printer, a black traveling bag with 12 different identity cards, a company metal seal, two (2) international passports belonging to the same person, among other items.

The suspects will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded.

Close to 24 hours after the election of new catholic Pope Francis I, a new report has surfaced about his lung removal surgery.

According to Vatican spokesperson, Federico Lombardi, the 76-year-old pope had part of his lung removed in a surgical operation many years ago.

“I confirm that many, many years ago he had an operation in which part of a lung was removed,” Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi told reporters.

“This is not a handicap in his life,” Lombardi said. “Those who know him have always seen him in good health.”

The 76-year-old ex-cardinal from Bueno Aires in Argentina is believed to be in good health state.

Hip hop act, Damino Damoche shot dead at LASU

RISING hip hop act, Olaniyan Damilola, popular known as Damino Damoche, was shot dead on Thursday around 5.00 p.m at the Iba Gate of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, by people suspected to be cultists.
Nigerian Tribune gathered that Damoche was shot in the head twice, after he finished writing a test at the Faculty of Management Science of the institution.
The hip hop artiste, who broke to limelight mid-2011, was, until his death, a 400-level Banking and Finance student at LASU.
He was said to be working on his next album due for launch in April when the incident occurred.
Ngozi Braide, the image maker in charge of the Lagos State police command, cofirmed the killing.
She added that the police had deposited the corpse at the mortuary.
The Nigerian Tribune gathered that the hip hop act was on his way out of the campus , when some alleged cult guys accosted him and shot him at a close range.
The death created panic in the school, as students rushed to the scene to catch a glimpse.
A student of LASU, who simply identified himself as Ojo, informed the Nigerian  Tribune that “it is not unusual in LASU for someone to be killed before examinations. We know that they will surely kill since we are starting our exams next week.”
